Musica italiana...

... doesn't have to sound awful (like this or this). There are also musicans that can create less naive melody and lirics - one of them is Jovanotti. This discovery is so fresh (to quote another great, but not Italian band Televon Tel Aviv) - after some weeks of seeking for something I can listen to in Italian I was really scared that this country produces only a tasteless "artists". And now I'm discovering not only Jovanotti, but also e.g. Franco Battiato.

Prova questo, questo e questo ma... anche questo :) Two first links are rather tri- or hip-hop, two late ones more of a "italian lover" style, but still you don't risk turning deaf after listening them. Enjoy!

Il temporale

I'm kind of trapped in my office. There's a storm outside. I'm sitting inside - with sunning view on in - rain drops on window, lightnings on gray sky. So nice... I think I will stay here some more - I have some unfinished work that has to be ready for tomorrow. I also have some plans for this evening and thing I don't like is not to full fill what I planned - that's why this storm is just perfect excuse to stay longer at work and in most comfortable conditions do what I have to do ;) Confusing? Who cares :)

My name is Anne* - I've got a plan.
And seriously - I'm Kasia. From Poland - which I would prefer to be a country in southern Europe - with a lot of hot temper and long Mediterranean nights... But still - I like it and instead of complaining how gray and dull this country is I try to make the best of my days here.
I have a dog - which stays with my Parents. I do programming for living. I'm learning Italian. I love staying busy and meeting new ppl. I'd like to think I'm geeky while using shell ;) And - I try to buy myself a flat. Oh - and I enjoy my life a lot!
